City Council appoints the City Clerk for an indefinite term and shall fix his/her compensation. The Clerk is required to attend Council meeting and keep full minutes of its proceedings. Keep record of all bylaws, rules, regulations, resolutions and ordinance into appropriate books. He/she shall certify copies of any book, paper, record, bylaw, rule, regulation, resolution, ordinance or other proceedings of the City under the seal of the City. Shall attest the execution of all instruments and record all ordinances.The Clerk is also responsible for recording proof of service of all notices required by law or ordinance and performs such other duties as required by the City Manager or Council.
