City Building Paintings - Thomas McNickle
Thomas McNickle received both his bachelors and masters degree from Edinboro State Univeristy. He taught art with the Neshannock Township School District, limited service
at Youngstown State University and Westminster College as well as classes at the Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts and the Butler Institute of American Art. Currently he
teaches classes and workshops across the country.
Tom is an elected member of the American, the National, the Pennsylvania and the Pottsburgh Watercolor Societies. He is listed in "Who's Who in American Art" and a recipient
of the Edinboro University Outstanding Alumni Award. He has had one man exibitions at: Jerald Melberg Gallery, Charlotte, N.C.; David
Findlay Jr. Fine Art, N.Y.C; Carolina Galleries, Charleston, S.C.; James Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA; Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, OH; Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, PA;
Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA; and Youngstown State University, Youngstown, OH.
Tom's work has been awarded over 25 medals in national juried exhibitions across the country and has been included in over 100 juried exhibitions. He is presently represented by Jerald Melberg Gallery,
Charlotte, N.C.; Carolina Galleries, Charleston, S.C. and James Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA.
Tom currently resides in Volant, PA with his wife Janice where he also maintains his studio.
